Pervasive Insights research library

Every Study You Own, Searchable

Every survey, focus group transcript and report you have paid for, in one private library you can question in plain words, with every answer tied to its source.

Most companies own years of research that nobody can find. The segmentation sits in a former employee's folder, the focus group transcripts were never read past the topline, and a new brand manager commissions a study to answer a question that was answered three years ago. A research library puts all of it back to work.

The method

We gather every past study into one private library in Pervasive Insights, our AI suite: questionnaires, data files, reports, dashboards and transcripts. Each one is indexed down to the question, the table and the transcript line. Your team asks questions in plain words, and the library answers only from your own studies. Every claim cites the study, the year, the sample size and the page or transcript time it came from.

The question it answers

What do we already know, and is it good enough to act on? The second half matters as much as the first. The library scores each topic on how much evidence sits behind it and how recent it is, and it flags when evidence is thin or old enough that a new study is the better choice.

How we run it

We collect the studies, check that each file is complete and readable, and tag every study with its method, date, sample and topics. We agree with your team on the rules for thin and old evidence, since a fast-moving category ages faster. Then we test the library on questions your team already knows the answers to, before anyone relies on it. New studies go into the library as they are delivered.

What you get

A private, searchable library of everything you own, a coverage map of topics by study, and a short list of the gaps worth filling. The library sits alongside calibrated synthetic panels in Pervasive Insights, a City Research Solutions product. The library tells you what your customers have already said. A panel calibrated to how they actually answer lets you explore a new question quickly, and the short list then goes to real buyers. More samples are on pervasiveinsights.ai.

Where it goes wrong

A library is only as good as what goes in. Missing files and studies with no recorded sample size make answers look stronger than they are, so we check before indexing. Old findings can read as current, which is why every answer shows its date and the library flags aging evidence. Studies with different question wording get compared as if they matched, so the library notes method changes. And no library can answer a question nobody has studied. When it says the evidence is thin, the right next step is new research.

The sample below is the library for a fictional beverage company, Tallgrass Beverage, with 12 studies from 2016 to 2025. Click an example question to see an answer with its sources, then look at the studies, the coverage map and the topics flagged for new research. Every company, study and number is invented.
